We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer for web application testing. 

About Project

Domain - Travel

You Have

  • 5+ years of experience in web application testing, including UI/API, functional/non-functional testing, and are familiar with the practices of regular product delivery and its testing in this context.
  • Hands-on experience with exploratory testing. 
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, and Curl.
  • Experience with creating and maintaining test documentation beyond just bug reports and test cases.
  • Writing clear, easy-to-follow bug reports, checklists, and feature requests. 
  • Familiarization with basic programming principles and having a conceptual knowledge of modern software engineering processes, including version control systems, issue tracking, and continuous integration.
  • Running automation tests and analyzing reports.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to multitask, prioritize your work, and deliver on time, with a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Spoken Ukrainian will be desirable

Would be a plus

  • Experience in writing automation tests
  • Basic knowledge of the Python programming language

You Are Going To

  • Helping to test complex web travel applications.
  • Designing and executing test cases to verify software functionality and usability.
  • Conducting various types of testing, including functional testing (UI/API), regression testing, and integration testing (both manual and automated)
  • Performing ad-hoc and exploratory testing for areas that require immediate attention or have high-risk user scenarios that are not covered by automated tests.
  • Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Writing and maintaining comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, bug reports, and sporadic internal knowledge base articles (e.g., Confluence).
  • Taking a direct part in the discussion and planning of new features with TPM and Team Lead, alongside the creation of corresponding test plans. Collaborating with PM and Team Lead to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Striving for the highest possible test coverage with automated tests, including overseeing the sufficiency and coverage at all levels.
  • Collaborating with developers to ensure that unit and component tests are well-integrated.
  • Writing and maintaining automated tests at the integration and end-to-end levels.
