About AltexSoft
We are looking for a Junior Angular Developer to strengthen our team. The candidate should be capable to deal with a fast-paced agile environment, deliver accurate and high-quality code, communicate clearly with project teammates, ability to lear quickly and be proactive.
About Project
Distributed agile team with cross-functional professionals. The team members are divided into sub-teams (e.g., back-end, front-end) and can work with various components of the system. Technical implementation is led by Solution Architect while coordination of the dev team is handled by Team Lead. The development team on our side is primarily in Ukraine, but we are interacting with other software vendors located in UK, South Africa, and some other countries.
You Have
- At least 1 (1,5) years of Web development experience
- Good knowledge of Angular (8 and above) combined with hands-on experience on commercial projects for at least 1 year
- Solid knowledge of Typescript
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3(SCSS), JS (ES6)
- Solid experience with version control systems such as Git or similar
- Basic understanding of CI/CD
- Experience working with Invision/Figma
- Comfortable working fully remotely
Would be a plus
- Familiarity with RxJS
- Experience with NgRx, Redux (you know what is immutability, reducers, middlewares, and how Redux works)
- Experience with REST APIs
- Unit testing (e.g. Jest, Karma)
- Knowledge of OOP, SOLID
- Experience in application front-end scalability, performance, and security
- Experience with Chrome Extensions
- Proficiency in modern web application features and design (i.e. Web components, Responsive design)
You Are Going To
- Work in Lean/Kanban environment building new features, tests, and enhancements using Angular
- Proven experience in modern front-end web development
- Being an active participant in regular ceremonies (e.g. replenishment, retros, etc.)
- Participate in planning and estimation activities
- Ability to transform mockups/wireframes and high-level designs into semantic, accessible. front-end interfaces of complex web apps
- Engage with fellow developers through active participation in code reviews
- Add and improve our test coverage mainly unit and acceptance tests
- Assist with technical debt repayment
- Be a positive influence on the team, collaborating with other developers to get work items across the finish line
- Maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to front-end web technologies
- Effectively communicate within the distributed development team to resolve any roadblocks.
