Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI-Native Development)
About AltexSoft
We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack .NET Engineer with strong backend and frontend expertise and hands-on experience using AI in software development. You'll join a greenfield product and work across the full development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to testing and delivery. The role combines .NET, React, and AI-native development practices — we want someone who can use AI effectively to accelerate development while maintaining strong engineering judgment, code quality, and ownership. You'll work closely with architects, product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps engineers to build scalable, production-ready solutions.
About Project
You'll be joining an online travel platform that takes travelers from hotel search through checkout, currently evolving into a multi-brand merchant-of-record platform integrated with major global hotel supply providers. The project is genuinely greenfield — it's currently wrapping up an initial discovery/elaboration phase, and no application code exists yet. As one of the first engineers on the build, you'll help stand up the first service skeleton, CI/CD pipeline, and cloud landing zone from scratch, on a stack built around .NET/ASP.NET Core services running on GCP (GKE), with Terraform, GitLab CI, and Argo CD driving delivery.
You Have
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET, including ASP.NET Core and REST APIs
- Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of both frontend and backend architecture
- A strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals — clean code, SOLID principles, design patterns, testing, and system design
- Experience with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications
- Experience working with GCP or a similar cloud platform
- A strong problem-solving mindset and sense of ownership
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher
- Hands-on experience using AI as part of the software development lifecycle, with tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or similar
- Experience using AI for coding, debugging, refactoring, testing, documentation, and code analysis, along with the ability to review and validate AI-generated code and technical solutions
- A good understanding of the capabilities and limitations of large language models (LLMs), including how to prompt and provide context for reliable results
- A willingness to keep adopting and experimenting with new AI-native development practices

- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Experience building AI-powered features or applications
- Experience working with LLM APIs or AI agents
- Experience with RAG, vector databases, MCP, or similar AI technologies
- Experience with cloud-native and distributed systems
- Experience working on greenfield products
- Experience in travel, OTA, e-commerce, booking, or payment platforms
- Experience working in AI-first or AI-native engineering teams
You Are Going To
- Design and develop backend services using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core
- Build modern frontend applications with React and TypeScript
- Design and implement scalable APIs and integrations
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases
- Write automated unit and integration tests
- Take part in technical design and architecture discussions
- Partner with DevOps engineers to keep applications containerized, deployed, and production-ready
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and implementation plans
- Use AI coding tools and agents as part of your daily development workflow — for code generation, refactoring, debugging, testing, documentation, and technical analysis
- Review and validate AI-generated code and technical solutions
- Continuously improve development efficiency and quality through AI-native engineering practices
