Oman’s OMRAN Invests $7M in UK STR Tech Firm

The Government of Oman, through its tourism investment arm OMRAN Group, has invested $7 million in the UK-based prop-tech firm UnderTheDoormat Group. This brings the company's total funding to approximately $18 million.
Specializing in the short-term rental market, UnderTheDoormat provides end-to-end property management solutions.
Its technologies include Hospiria, a SaaS platform for portfolio distribution and management, and TrustedStays, which offers accredited rental inventory to corporate and government buyers.
This new investment aligns with OMRAN Group’s broader strategy of encouraging technological advancement in hospitality. It also builds upon its earlier 2022 partnership with UnderTheDoormat to digitalize Oman’s STR market, using Hospiria to connect local accommodations with global booking platforms.
