AltexSoft Celebrates its 12th Anniversary

In July 2007 the Ukrainian IT landscape expanded with the addition of a small IT company, AltexSoft. Year after year we’ve grown bigger and better with the previous year no exception. Let’s celebrate our 12th anniversary by sharing our recent achievements.  

Grew in size (again). Continuing the previous year’s trend, we kept growing. During that time, 90 new employees joined AltexSoft and the total personnel roster is now over 200. Kharkiv has remained our home base but we moved to a new spacious office (finally).

Made it to the Inc.5000. AltexSoft is 871st in the top 5000 fastest-growing businesses in the US by Inc. Magazine with 576 percent growth from 2014 to 2017. 

Brought together AI professionals in Kyiv. In October 2018, we successfully held AI Ukraine 2018, the V International Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Conference. This was the first time the conference took place in Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital city. With speakers from Facebook, Skyscanner, Booking.com, Carnegie Mellon University, and other companies and universities, we gathered over 500 professionals under the same roof.

Opened a business development office in the US. As AltexSoft expanded to the North American market, we needed a new office. So, in addition to our West Coast office in San Diego, we opened a new office in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Expanded our technology expertise. For the third year in a row, Clutch recognized AltexSoft among technology leaders in Ukraine, this time in .NET Technology Expertise. Also, our solution architect’s expertise in Amazon Web Services was confirmed by passing AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate exam.

Took part in an international conference. Along with 600+ travel tech industry leaders, we attended Phocuswright Europe 2019 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Our team presented AltexSoft’s services in travel and hospitality tech consultancy.

Hosted a meetup in Georgia. Not only did AltexSoft open a new office in Atlanta, but we also made a meaningful connection with the local data science community. In May, we held a successful Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning meetup, where our data science competence leader discussed the implementation of AI and data in business.

So, that’s how we spent our 12th year, and we have more plans for the one ahead. Happy Birthday to us!
