About AltexSoft
We are looking for a Middle Front-end Engineer with a strong emphasis on modern React development. You will join our team to build high-quality web applications, shape frontend architecture, and contribute to backend services when needed. Your role will include working closely with designers, analysts, and other engineers to create stable, scalable, and user-focused solutions across various domains, including travel and hospitality tech as well as adjacent industries. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading technical decisions on the frontend while confidently working with Node.js on the server side.
About Project
AltexSoft is looking for a Middle Front End Engineer with a strong emphasis on modern React development.
You Have
- 3+ years of experience in React
- Hands-on experience with Node.js, Express, or NestJS for backend development
- Knowledge of SSR and Next.js or similar frameworks
- Solid understanding of TypeScript and modern ECMAScript standards
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Recoil
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON structures, and integration patterns
- Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, automated testing, and Git-based workflows
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) in day-to-day development tasks
Would be a plus
- Experience building microservices or serverless components
- Background working with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Understanding of performance optimization and frontend profiling
- Experience with GraphQL
- Familiarity with design systems or UI component libraries
- Experience building AI-powered solutions or integrating AI pipelines/APIs into software projects
You Are Going To
- Lead development of React-based interfaces, ensuring clean architecture and maintainable code
- Contribute to backend services using Node.js when needed
- Collaborate with designers, BAs, PMs, and engineers to deliver high-quality product increments
- Participate in technical decision-making, estimations, and solution design
- Implement integrations with internal and external APIs
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to project standards
- Optimize application performance and support ongoing improvements
- Mentor middle and junior engineers when applicable
