About AltexSoft
We are looking for a People & Site Experience Lead who will build and maintain a strong AltexSoft presence in Nigeria by creating a local environment where employees feel engaged, supported, and connected to the company’s global culture and practices, while actively contributing to the sustainable growth of the location and strengthening its role within the local tech community in close partnership with leaders and teams across the company.
About Project
The position is directly related to launching and developing the Lagos office. It includes supporting the identification of effective hiring channels. The role requires 100% on-site presence and is not designed as a remote position.
You Have
- 4+ years of experience in a people-focused, site, or operations role in a tech or professional services environment (Site Manager / Branch Manager / Unit Manager / HRBP).
- Strong understanding of how IT/consulting business operates, including delivery and workforce dynamics.
- Experience working with managers and leadership on engagement, workforce planning, or performance topics.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of ownership, maturity, and ability to work independently.
- Ability to operate effectively at the intersection of People, Operations, and Business needs.
- Based in Lagos, Nigeria, with availability for full-time on-site work.
Would be a plus
- Prior experience interacting with Ukrainians, through education in Ukraine, or previous professional collaboration
You Are Going To
- Ensure daily implementation of AltexSoft culture, Code of Conduct, policies, and best practices at the Nigeria site.
- Act as the local People Partner, supporting onboarding, adaptation, engagement, feedback culture, risk management, and exits.
- Serve as the main local contact for all people-related needs, keeping employees connected to the global organization.
- Help maintain low attrition through engagement efforts, early risk detection, and close teamwork with managers.
- Partner with Delivery and Engineering leaders to ensure healthy utilization through workforce coordination and site capacity visibility.
- Support effective talent attraction by collaborating with Talent Acquisition, local tech communities, universities, and training centers.
- Lead internship programs and early‑talent initiatives to build a sustainable local talent pipeline.
- Support on-site learning and development through trainings, workshops, onboarding days, and internal knowledge-sharing events.
- Act as the local escalation point for people and site risks, coordinating with global teams when needed.
- Support visits, business trips, all‑hands meetings, and local events to ensure a positive site experience.
- Strengthen AltexSoft’s local visibility and employer brand through external engagement in the tech community..
