About AltexSoft
AltexSoft is looking for a journalist/presenter in Warsaw (Poland) or Lviv (Ukraine) to join our team. We operate our own YouTube channel and a news portal partially dedicated to the travel industry and travel technology. Your primary focus will be sourcing and researching impactful topics from the travel and tourism sector, writing in-depth scripts for long-form video format, and presenting this content on camera in a professional video journalism format.
About Project
It’s a challenging yet unique career opportunity that requires working as an on-camera presenter — confidently delivering and explaining complex topics to an audience. The role combines technology journalism, in-depth research and fact-checking, collaboration on long-form YouTube video production, and performance tracking using analytics tools.
You Have
- 1+ years of professional and creative writing experience, combined with strong on-camera communication and presentation skills
- Research and fact-checking C1 level of English and fluent spoken English
- Ability to effectively present written material in a clear and engaging way
- Prioritization and delivering results under tight deadlines
- Proactive learning, constructive reaction to feedback
Would be a plus
- News writer and reporter experience
- Tech blogging or tech journalism experience
- Business/economics literacy
- Experience with travel technologies
- Experience with YouTube/TikTok video production
You Are Going To
- Source news relevant to the travel and tourism industry
- Fact-check and cross-check sources
- Write video scripts for 20–30 minute episodes that discuss the current industry developments
- Present and deliver scripted content on camera in a clear, engaging, and professional manner
- Interview internal and external domain experts to enhance materials with insights and informed opinions
- Collaborate and align with news writers and the video production team to deliver informed and high-quality videos
