Trip.com Launches AI Trip.Planner for Custom Itineraries

Trip.com Group has introduced Trip.Planner, its new AI travel agent.
The platform is designed to simplify the planning process by asking users three questions about destination, duration of travel, and preferred travel style, such as cultural, family-oriented, or nature-focused.
Based on this input, Trip.Planner produces a tailored itinerary with real-time prices, availability, and verified listings.
Trip.Planner integrates air travel, rail, lodging, restaurants, and attractions. From the tool’s interface, users can edit and book every element of their trip without switching to external platforms.
The tool also provides tailored recommendations, such as airport transfers or car rentals for less accessible areas.
Earlier in August, other AI travel assistants were introduced to the market, such as DIYA by Yatra and MakeMyTrip’s Myra.
