Sabre’s New AI Chatbot Books Travel, Integrates Loyalty Program

Sabre has introduced a new generative AI-powered chatbot for airlines called SabreMosaic Concierge IQ.
The chatbot interprets customer preferences in natural language, providing more personalized recommendations and real-time support.
Concierge IQ allows travelers to plan, book, and manage their itineraries, including flights, hotels, rental cars, and ancillary products such as baggage, upgrades, and priority services, all within a single conversation.
The platform incorporates several Sabre technology modules, including Air Price IQ (dynamic airfare optimization), Ancillary IQ (ancillary revenue optimization), Bundle IQ (intelligent product bundling), and Upgrade IQ (AI-driven seat upgrade management).
The chatbot can proactively suggest upsells and ancillary bundles through Sabre’s proprietary AI models and notify passengers when loyalty points can be used. The integration with airline loyalty systems also allows Concierge IQ to evaluate traveler profiles and recommend options for redeeming points or maximizing program benefits.
Concierge IQ is being adopted by airline partners, with Virgin Australia becoming the first carrier to implement it.
In parallel, Google recently expanded its AI-powered Flight Deals feature to more than 200 regions worldwide. Similarly, Flight Deals allows users to describe their travel preferences using natural language, enabling Google’s AI to surface relevant fare options based on budget, destination type, travel dates, and desired activities.
