Sabre Launches Agentic APIs to Automate Travel Booking Tasks

Sabre Corporation has announced the launch of its new agentic APIs, powered by Sabre’s proprietary Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.
The APIs are designed to enable automation for travel shopping, booking, and servicing worldwide.
The MCP allows AI agents to interact with travel technology platforms to handle repetitive travel tasks autonomously. For example,
- “Call-Centre Proxy Agent” can complete rebooking tasks, update passenger itineraries, and process payments.
- “Hotel Ops Agent” can manage room availability and assist with special guest requests.
- “Visa & Compliance Agent” completes visa application submissions and fee payments and attaches documents to the booking record.
- “Expense Filing Agent” collects receipts and submits reports that are compliant with the company travel policy.
The agentic APIs are integrated into SabreMosaic, Sabre’s modular, cloud-native platform.
This new technology opens opportunities for smarter, more automated workflows that reduce the manual workload for travelers and travel agents.
