Malaysia Airlines Adopts Amadeus Travel Ready for Faster Check-In

Malaysia Airlines has announced a partnership with global travel technology provider Amadeus.
As part of this agreement, the airline will deploy Amadeus Travel Ready, becoming the first carrier in Southeast Asia to implement this solution for verifying travel documents.
Through Amadeus Travel Ready, travelers can upload and authenticate documents, including passports, visas, and health certifications, before arriving at the airport.
This initiative supports the IATA One ID vision, designed to simplify the passenger journey by promoting document validation ahead of time and implementing a contactless airport experience that relies on biometric identity verification.
Throughout 2025, Amadeus has established multiple partnerships with airlines, including agreements with Riyadh Air, Breeze Airways, and Saudia.
