IAG’s Q3 2025 Results: Steady $10B Revenue, Income Slightly Dipped

International Airlines Group (IAG), the parent company of British Airways, Iberia, Vueling, Aer Lingus, and LEVEL, has reported financial results for the third quarter of 2025, highlighting continued profitability.
Revenue remained steady at €9.328 billion ($10.82 billion), almost the same as €9.329 billion from the same quarter last year.
Operating profit reached €2.05 billion ($2.38 billion), up 2 percent compared to €2.01 billion ($2.33 billion) in Q3 2024. Meanwhile, operating margin for the third quarter was 22 percent, marking an increase of 0.4 points.
Net income was approximately €1.4 billion ($1.62 billion), slightly down 2.3 percent year-over-year from €1.44 billion ($1.67 billion).
Earnings per share (EPS) were €30.2 ($35), up 3.1 percent from €29.3 ($34) last year.
Additionally, during the quarter, IAG received 6 new aircraft, making it 19 aircraft delivered for the first nine months of the year in total.
IAG remains optimistic about the fourth quarter of 2025, expecting stable revenues and continued operational improvements. Though net income declined slightly, operating profits and margins improved.
Meanwhile, Lufthansa Group shared mixed third-quarter results, reporting a net profit of €966 million ($1.12 billion), a 12 percent decrease compared to €1.10 billion ($1.27 billion) from the same quarter last year. EPS also dropped, but revenue grew 4 percent, reaching a record €11.2 billion ($12.9 billion).
