Hyatt Hotels Corporation has reported its third-quarter 2025 financial results, showing mixed performance with moderate revenue growth.

Revenue reached $1.78 billion, up 9.6 percent year over year, but slightly below the consensus estimate of $1.83 billion.

The company posted a net loss of $49 million, while its adjusted net loss was $29 million.

In contrast, during the same period in 2024, Hyatt recorded a net income of $471 million, largely boosted by one-time gains such as the sale of Hyatt Regency Orlando and other assets. Excluding those items, the adjusted net income in Q3 2024 was $96 million, making the comparison with the adjusted net loss of 2025 more reflective of actual operations.

Earnings per share (EPS) were reported at a loss of $0.51 (diluted EPS), or an adjusted diluted loss of $0.30 per share, compared to the adjusted diluted EPS of $0.94 last year.

On a positive note, adjusted EBITDA rose 5.6 percent year over year to $291 million, reflecting improved operational efficiency.

Hyatt also achieved net room growth of 12.1 percent, or 7.0 percent excluding acquisitions, supported by openings such as Hyatt Regency Times Square in New York and Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur.

Comparable RevPAR increased slightly by 0.3 percent, driven mainly by continued strength in luxury brands and leisure travel demand.

The company plans to return approximately $350 million to shareholders through a mix of dividends and share repurchases.

Looking ahead, Hyatt projects:

  • RevPAR growth between 2.0 and 2.5 percent for the full-year 2025 compared to 2024.
  • Net rooms growth (excluding acquisitions) between 6.3 and 7.0 percent.
  • Net income between $70 million and $86 million.
  • Adjusted EBITDA between $1.09 billion and $1.11 billion, representing an increase of 7 to 9 percent year over year after adjusting for asset sales in 2024.
