Delta to Add Hong Kong and Chicago Routes from LAX in 2026

On July 16, 2025, Delta Air Lines announced two new routes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
- Starting June 7, 2026: Three daily Boeing 737‑800 flights from LAX to Chicago O’Hare (ORD).
- Starting June 6, 2026: Daily Airbus A350‑900 service from LAX to Hong Kong (HKG).
Delta will offer approximately 1,925 weekly seats to Hong Kong and 3,360 weekly seats to Chicago. New lounges will also be opened: Delta One at LAX and Sky Club at ORD.
LAX remains Delta’s leading hub on the West Coast, handling more than 160 daily flights to over 50 destinations. Since April 2022, Delta and Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) have been executing a $2.3 billion investment in the Delta Sky Way project at LAX to upgrade the facilities.
