Amex GBT Launches Guest T&E Tool for Non-Employee Travel

On July 23, 2025, American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) introduced its new Guest T&E platform, designed to manage travel and expenses for non-employee travelers such as contractors, interns, and consultants.

Guest T&E handles self-managed bookings, AI-powered receipt scanning, expense justification, real‑time reconciliation, virtual card payments, and more. Users can create profiles, make bookings via Amex GBT’s marketplace, and receive payment cards tied to fixed budgets.

The platform targets event planners, HR teams, and managers coordinating travel for multiple non-employee guests.

Guest T&E is currently available to US clients using Amex GBT’s Neo and Egencia systems, with global rollout and additional integrations planned.
