About AltexSoft
AltexSoft is seeking a Business Analyst with strong analytical and technical skills to support Tax and Accounting solutions.
About Project
The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, elicit and document requirements, and use technical tools to analyze and validate results.
You Have
- Basic SQL proficiency (ability to read, write, and modify SQL queries; perform basic data validation; understand database structures, stored procedures, and functions)
- Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
- High level of English (written and spoken, ideally B2/C1)
- Experience with data tools and reporting platforms/solutions
- Experience eliciting requirements directly from business stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively between business and technical teams
- Experience with modeling/visualization tools
Would be a plus
- Experience working with relational databases and structured data
- Advanced SQL proficiency (ability to write complex queries; perform deep data validation and reconciliation; analyze data models; troubleshoot database logic)
- Experience or understanding of Tax and Accounting processes, tax provisioning or regulatory reporting, or financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
You Are Going To
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions with Tax and Accounting stakeholders
- Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
- Write and review documentation (including FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria)
- Use SQL and data tools to extract, validate, and analyze data supporting requirements and business decisions
- Support testing activities (including UAT and data validation)
- Facilitate communication across product, technical, and implementation teams
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies (including business, product design, and timeline risks)
