Join AltexSoft as a Senior Flutter Developer on a product team building the mobile experience for a premium travel and hospitality brand. You'll help evolve an established, high-traffic booking app — shipping new functionality while keeping it fast, stable, and dependable for real travelers making real bookings. About Project
You'll work on the mobile app for an online travel agency representing 400+ luxury hotels across 75 countries through its own booking ecosystem. The app covers flexible room search and filtering, booking and payment flows, a shopping cart, and loyalty programs that combine hotel discounts with an internal points-based rewards system. It's under continuous development to keep engagement high and deliver a reliably premium experience for guests booking upscale stays. On the technical side, the app is built in Flutter with WebView-based screens and integrates with a CMS, Leonardo for image management, and hospitality platforms like Salesforce and SynXis.
You Have
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience, with strong hands-on work in Flutter and Dart
- Deep proficiency in Flutter and Dart — application architecture, state management, widget composition, and performance optimization
- A solid grasp of asynchronous programming in Dart, including Futures and Streams
- Experience integrating REST APIs, handling JSON serialization, and managing API-related errors and edge cases
- A track record of shipping and maintaining production-grade mobile applications
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated build/deployment processes
- Experience writing and maintaining unit, widget, and/or integration tests for Flutter apps
- A good handle on mobile performance, debugging, logging, and troubleshooting
- Experience with WebView-based functionality and integrating web content into mobile apps
- Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to investigate and resolve complex issues independently
- A habit of taking ownership of your tasks, making sound technical calls, and flagging risks early
- Experience working in a collaborative Agile team
- Hands-on use of AI coding assistants (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) in daily development
- Genuine interest in AI-assisted engineering — using it to improve development, testing, debugging, documentation, and productivity
- Upper-intermediate English, spoken and written, with confidence communicating with international teams and clients
Would be a plus
- Experience with mobile apps in travel, hospitality, e-commerce, or booking
- Experience with payment flows, booking systems, loyalty programs, or other transactional features
- Experience integrating mobile apps with CMS platforms and third-party enterprise systems
- Familiarity with Salesforce, SynXis, or similar hospitality/travel tech integrations
- Experience with image/content management platforms such as Leonardo or similar
- Understanding of WebView-based hybrid app architectures
- Experience with Firebase or similar mobile backend/analytics services
- Experience with automated release processes for App Store and Google Play
- Awareness of application security and best practices for protecting user and payment data
- Experience building AI-powered features or integrating AI pipelines/APIs into a product — or using AI beyond code generation, e.g., for testing, debugging, technical analysis, documentation, or planning
You Are Going To
- Build and ship new features for the Flutter mobile app
- Help evolve search, booking, payment, loyalty, and other customer-facing functionality
- Integrate mobile functionality with REST APIs and external services
- Keep existing functionality stable and reliable as you maintain and improve it
- Investigate and resolve production issues and technical defects
- Take part in support, troubleshooting, and ongoing app maintenance
- Write and maintain automated tests to keep new and existing functionality solid
- Work closely with QA, Solution Architecture, frontend, and project management throughout the development lifecycle
- Weigh in on architecture and implementation decisions in technical discussions
- Spot opportunities to improve performance, maintainability, and the development process itself
- Bring in modern engineering practices and AI-assisted tools wherever they genuinely help
- Communicate progress, risks, and possible solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
