We are looking for
AI-Native Solutions Architect (Agentic SDLC)
About AltexSoft
We are AltexSoft, a consulting company. Every day we create solutions that solve our customers' problems — and today, that increasingly means rethinking how software gets built in the first place. Development methodology is shifting fast: agentic coding tools like Claude Code, and structured practices like BMAD, SDD (Spec-Driven Development), and GSD, are changing what a delivery team looks like and how much it costs to build something. Our presales and architecture practice needs to evolve at the same pace.
About Project
We're looking for a Solutions Architect who will join our Architecture Competence Center to contribute in AI-agent-driven development processes and participate in the presales/estimation motion for projects delivered this way. This is a senior, strategic role for someone who has moved past "using AI tools to code faster" and is now thinking about how entire delivery pipelines, team structures, and effort models change when agents do a large share of the implementation work. If you're already running spec-driven or agent-orchestrated workflows on real projects — and can explain to a client why that changes both the timeline and the price — we want to talk to you.
You Have
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or Tech Lead in software development projects, 8+ years overall, including 3+ years in architecture/presales
- Hands-on experience designing and running agentic development workflows — e.g., Claude Code, BMAD, Spec-Driven Development (SDD), GSD, or comparable agent-orchestration methodologies — on real delivery projects, not just individual coding assistance
- Ability to re-architect the SDLC around agentic execution: defining agent roles, task decomposition, spec/context management, human-in-the-loop review points, and QA gates
- Demonstrated ability to estimate development effort for AI-agent-driven projects including how agent-based delivery changes traditional estimation models (story points, T-shirt sizing, person-days) and how to defend those numbers to a client
- Solid expertise in at least two backend technologies: Python, Java, .NET, Node.js
- Practical experience with cloud-native architecture (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP acceptable) and standard patterns: microservices, event-driven, API-first, serverless
- Strong understanding of API design (REST/gRPC), integration patterns, and security/compliance basics
- Proven ability to lead presales and discovery phases: scoping, feasibility, solution narrative, objection handling
- Strong verbal and written English (Upper-Intermediate or higher)
- Experience mentoring developers and running architecture/process reviews
Would be a plus
- Experience in the Travel Tech industry
- Familiarity with GenAI patterns (RAG, agent frameworks, tool/function calling, vector DBs) in addition to agentic SDLC tooling
- Track record of building internal playbooks, templates, or tooling for spec-driven/agentic delivery
- Understanding of how agentic delivery affects team composition (e.g., smaller teams, different QA/review ratios) and how to price that into a proposal
- Certifications: --
- Claude Certified Architect – Foundations
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
You Are Going To
- Participate in presales and discovery to define technical solutions, and produce proposals with effort and cost estimates -
- Design development processes around AI agents: workflow structure, spec/context strategy, review checkpoints, and quality gates
- Choose appropriate tech stacks and agentic tooling based on project needs, client constraints, and risk tolerance
- Architect scalable, maintainable system solutions across domains (primarily Travel Tech)
- Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and client stakeholders to align expectations on scope, timeline, and cost given agent-driven delivery
- Communicate — clearly, to technical and non-technical audiences — why and how agentic delivery changes both the estimate and the process
- Define non-functional requirements (scalability, security, performance) that hold up under agent-assisted development -
- Guide delivery teams through implementation, including coaching them on agentic workflows and tooling
- Continuously evaluate emerging agentic-development methodologies and tools (Claude Code, BMAD, SDD, GSD, and whatever comes next) and fold them into presales and delivery practices
