Void ticket
A void ticket is a ticket that has been canceled before it was officially issued, rendering it invalid for travel and preventing any financial transaction from being completed.
Unlike a refund, which occurs after payment has been processed, voiding a ticket annuls the transaction as if it never happened.
Void tickets are commonly used to correct booking errors (e.g., wrong passenger names or incorrect travel dates), prevent duplicate ticket issuance, or cancel reservations without financial penalties when done within a specific time frame.
