Ultra all-inclusive
An ultra all-inclusive package expands on the standard all-inclusive model by including not just meals, snacks, and beverages, but also premium services such as branded alcoholic drinks, à la carte dining, 24-hour room service, concierge, and sometimes spa treatments or water sports. These extras are built into the tariff, reducing the need for guests to pay for services separately.
Ultra all-inclusive packages are common in resort destinations where hotels compete on service level rather than just room rates. Unlike properties that rely heavily on revenue from upselling, resorts offering ultra all-inclusive packages aim to deliver a fully prepaid experience.
For travelers, the benefit is predictability and convenience. For hotels, this model can increase average daily rate (ADR) and attract high-spending clientele. However, it also increases operating costs, so revenue managers must carefully balance inclusions against profitability.
