Bed and breakfast (B&B)

Bed and breakfast (B&B) is a type of accommodation that offers a room for the night and breakfast in the morning. Typically, they are small, family-run establishments and, being designed as “home away from home,” offer a personal touch and a cozy atmosphere.

B&Bs can be found in various locations, such as seaside, city, or countryside. They can also be established in different types of buildings, e.g., cottages, mansions, castles, or farms.

B&Bs usually have between four and eleven rooms, with six being the average offering. They are often cheaper than hotels and provide a unique local experience. It’s common for hosts to live in the same house and interact with the guests, providing local tips and recommendations.
