Global Business Travel Association (GBTA)

Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), previously known as the National Business Travel Association, is the world’s largest trade organization representing the business travel industry. 

GBTA brings together corporate travel managers, travel management companies (TMCs), airlines, hotels, car rentals, technology providers, and consultants who are involved in planning, buying, managing, and supplying business travel. 

The association aims to advance the sector by setting industry standards, advocating for policies that affect corporate travel, and providing education and certification programs. 

GBTA gathers extensive industry data from surveys and market studies and publishes reports on travel spend trends, pricing, traveler behavior, technology adoption, and risk management. It also organizes major conferences and conventions where travel managers meet airlines, hotel chains, payment providers, booking platform vendors, and other suppliers to negotiate partnerships, learn about innovations, and discuss best practices.
