Amenity kit

An amenity kit is a small pouch provided to passengers, usually in premium cabin classes such as business class or first class, containing travel essentials for comfort and hygiene during the flight. Common items include an eye mask, earplugs, socks, a toothbrush, toothpaste, lip balm, and skincare products.

Airlines use amenity kits as part of their customer experience strategy to enhance comfort on long-haul or international flights and reinforce their brand identity through packaging and product design. Many major carriers collaborate with fashion houses or cosmetic brands to create exclusive kits, turning them into collectible items among frequent flyers.

In the hospitality industry, the term can also refer to small, in-room supplies like toiletries, slippers, or sewing kits. These items are part of a hotel’s amenities, contributing to overall guest satisfaction and influencing reviews, star ratings, and repeat business.
