Frontier Airlines Unveils 23-Route Expansion

Frontier Airlines has announced a significant network expansion, revealing 23 new routes scheduled to launch across late winter and early spring 2026. The flights aim to capture rising leisure demand ahead of the spring break season.
The new routes span 24 airports across the US and Mexico. Service begins in March through early April 2026, with prices starting as low as US$39–$49 one-way. These promotional fares are available for a limited time.
Among the new additions are a mix of leisure-strong and fast-growing markets, including Nashville–Phoenix, Charlotte–Cancún, and Columbus–Fort Lauderdale, each launching the week of March 6–8, 2026. The expansion also strengthens links to Florida, the Southwest, and key mid-sized US cities — markets where low-cost carriers are increasingly competing for volume.
The announcement underscores Frontier’s broader transformation strategy, known as the “New Frontier,” which pairs low fares with a series of recent product upgrades. These include new seating options such as UpFront Plus and First Class, along with enhancements to the airline’s loyalty offering.
By combining network growth with service improvements, the carrier aims to attract more leisure travelers seeking affordable flights.
This year, around 6 million US travelers flew domestically for Thanksgiving – approximately two percent more than last year.
