Amex Launches a Travel App To Capture Younger Travelers

American Express has introduced its new “Amex Travel App” for itinerary management, personalized trip planning, and bookings.
The app will allow Card Members to book flights, hotels, car rentals, and more using Membership Rewards points or traditional payment methods.
Among its features is a “Wishlist” tool that allows users to save preferred services and destinations and organize itineraries before finalizing bookings.
The app also provides travel ideas with destination guides and recommendations for local experiences.
American Express Travel President Audrey Hendley highlighted that the app is designed to meet the needs of younger travelers, who prefer simple digital solutions instead of researching trips across multiple platforms.
American Express continues to refine app features and plans to expand internationally after the US launch on September 18.
Two weeks ago, American Express GBT completed the acquisition of CWT, uniting two leading players within the global business travel sector.
