We are looking for an experienced BA with a product mindset who will strengthen our expert community, willing to get involved into the engagements at their earliest stages and to deepen practical knowledge in Travel domain. You will be able to get hands-on experience with product management approaches and techniques. We are specifically seeking someone with extensive travel industry experience who understands the complexities and unique challenges of travel technology solutions. In this position, you'll collaborate closely with our client's team, engaging directly with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment with their goals. Given your strong travel background, you'll leverage your existing domain expertise while continuing to expand your knowledge and skills in this dynamic field.
About Project
Experienced BA with product mindset and strong travel domain expertise to strengthen the expert community and deepen practical knowledge in Travel technology solutions.
You Have
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in software development
• Strong background in the Travel domain, including booking systems and distribution models
• Hands-on experience with travel technology solutions and integrations (GDS, airline systems, booking platforms, APIs)
• Deep understanding of travel booking processes and industry standards
• Proven expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
• Experience in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications
• Solid skills in business process modeling and process improvement
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and product delivery processes
• Experience collaborating with distributed teams in multicultural environments
• Product mindset with understanding of product discovery and delivery practices
• Experience using AI assistants (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) in day-to-day tasks
Would be a plus
• Experience across multiple travel verticals (airlines, hotels, car rentals, corporate travel)
• Familiarity with airline reservation systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport
• Understanding of NDC (New Distribution Capability) and modern distribution standards
• Experience with corporate travel management solutions
• Involvement in pre-sales activities or direct client-facing engagements
• Knowledge of travel industry regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience with prototyping and wireframing tools
• Background in data analysis, reporting, or BI tools
• Understanding of revenue management and pricing strategies in travel
• Product management certifications or relevant training
• Experience building AI-powered solutions or integrating AI pipelines/APIs into software projects
You Are Going To
- Leverage your deep travel industry expertise to guide clients on best practices and industry standards
- Apply your knowledge of travel domain complexities to design optimal technical solutions
- Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Lead requirements gathering sessions and stakeholder workshops
- Create and maintain product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with development teams to ensure proper understanding and implementation of requirements
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis specific to the travel domain
- Provide expert consultation on travel technology integrations and API implementations
- Participate in product discovery and planning activities
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Support pre-sales activities and client presentations
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements
- Ensure product delivery aligns with client expectations and business goals
- Mentor junior business analysts and share domain expertise
- Stay updated on travel industry trends and emerging technologies
- Act as a subject matter expert for travel-related technical decisions and architectural choices
