About AltexSoft
We are looking for a Middle Legal Counsel to support day-to-day legal operations of the company, with a focus on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and operational legal support across multiple jurisdictions.
About Project
In this role, you will work closely with business and operational teams, ensuring legal alignment of processes, mitigating risks, and supporting business growth through practical and solution-oriented legal advice.
You Have
- 5–7+ years of legal experience, including 1–2+ years in IT
- Background in a top-tier law firm (in-house IT experience is a strong advantage)
- Qualification as a lawyer in Ukraine or equivalent legal practice experience
- Strong experience in contract law and commercial agreements
- Understanding of international legal frameworks (US/EU/Ukraine)
- Strong analytical thinking and risk assessment skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate with business stakeholders
- Upper-Intermediate+ English (legal communication)
Would be a plus
- Experience with logistics, customs, or supply chain-related legal matters
- Experience in defence-related projects or regulated industries
- Experience managing IP-related topics
- Previous in-house experience in IT / tech companies
- Experience working with international teams and cross-border operations
You Are Going To
- Provide day-to-day legal support to business operations
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (supply, distribution, service agreements)
- Advise on legal matters related to defence, customs law, logistics, and supply chains
- Manage intellectual property matters (protection, usage, compliance)
- Ensure compliance with US, EU, and Ukrainian laws and regulations
- Support corporate governance processes and internal policies
- Cooperate with external legal advisors and public authorities when required •
- identify legal risks and propose practical solutions to mitigate them
