STARFLYER Ditches Legacy Loyalty System for iLoyal by IBS

STARFLYER, a premium Japanese airline based in Fukuoka, has upgraded its STAR LINK frequent-flyer program by implementing IBS Software’s cloud-native iLoyal solution.
The update introduces a new mobile app and web portal offering flight notifications, digital membership cards, and tier-specific offers. Members can manage their status and view rewards.
Until now, STARFLYER used an in-house loyalty system. The shift to iLoyal gives the airline a scalable foundation to connect loyalty functionalities across both domestic and international passenger service systems (PSS).
A loyalty program integrated into a user-friendly platform can drive more travelers to book directly. For example, United Airlines has leveraged its MileagePlus loyalty program to increase direct bookings and lower distribution costs.
