Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) reported record results for FY 2025-26, supported by strong hotel demand in India and growth across its wider hospitality business.

The company said the fourth quarter was its sixteenth consecutive record quarter.

Full-year consolidated revenue reached INR 9,971 crore ($1.04 billion), up 16 percent from the previous year. EBITDA rose to INR 3,477 crore ($363 million), while profit after tax reached INR 2,084 crore ($218 million), IHCL’s highest-ever annual profit.

In Q4, revenue increased 14 percent year over year to INR 2,845 crore ($297 million), with EBITDA of INR 1,052 crore ($110 million) and profit after tax of INR 600 crore ($63 million).

Hotel demand stayed strong across India

The results show that India’s hotel market is still growing after several strong recovery years. IHCL benefited from better room demand, higher rates, and growth across different parts of the business.

Same-store hotels reported 9 percent RevPAR growth. RevPAR, or revenue per available room, is a key hotel metric because it shows how much revenue hotels earn from available room inventory.

IHCL also grew beyond hotel rooms. Airline and institutional catering increased 16 percent, new businesses grew 25 percent, and management fee income rose 22 percent.

IHCL is expanding through more brands and hotels

IHCL also continued to grow its portfolio. During FY26, it added three new brands, taking its major brand count to 14. Its total portfolio reached 630 hotels, including 255 hotels in the pipeline. The company also signed 250 hotels and opened or onboarded more than 130 properties during the year.

This gives IHCL a wider presence across luxury, upscale, midscale, wellness, and experience-led leisure travel. Its brands include Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, Gateway, Ginger, Brij, Atmantan, and others. The strategy helps the company serve different traveler groups, from luxury guests to domestic business travelers and value-focused customers.
