Hotel loyalty program
A hotel loyalty program is a structured rewards system created by hotel brands or hotel groups to make their stays more rewarding and encourage repeat visits.
Once registered, every stay at participating hotels is tracked through the traveler’s loyalty account. The guest earns points based on the amount spent, the room type, or promotions in effect.
These points accumulate and can later be redeemed for rewards, such as complimentary nights, discounted stays, room upgrades, dining credits, late checkout, or partner services like airline miles or car rentals.
Many programs also operate on a tier system, where guests achieve elite status levels based on the number of nights stayed or dollars spent within a year.
A hotel loyalty program enables hotels to foster long-term relationships with guests, collect behavioral data, and enhance brand loyalty.
