European Plan
A European Plan is a hotel pricing model in which the room rate covers only the lodging itself, without including any meals or additional services.
Unlike other meal-inclusive plans, such as the American Plan or Bed and Breakfasts, the European Plan charges guests solely for the room, giving them complete freedom to select and pay for food and beverages separately.
Hotels typically offer menus, restaurants, or snack options to accommodate guests who prefer to purchase meals on-site, but these are entirely optional.
From the guest’s perspective, the European Plan offers flexibility, enabling them to dine at nearby restaurants, try local specialties, or enjoy street food and cafés without being bound by pre-paid meal arrangements.
