Card mill

A card mill is a fraudulent business scheme in which companies sell false or misleading travel agent identification cards that supposedly grant access to discounts, perks, or industry-only rates, without the buyers actually being legitimate travel agents. 

These deceptive businesses charge a fee and issue fake or unrecognizable travel agent cards.

They often target consumers seeking affordable travel rather than professionals in the travel industry.
