Back-to-back ticketing
Back-to-back ticketing is a travel booking strategy in which a passenger purchases two separate e-tickets for a round trip.
By using back-to-back tickets, travelers can complete the same travel plan while paying less than for a standard round-trip ticket or circumvent airline rules.
For example, an airline may offer a round-trip ticket with a minimum stay of 7 days from City A to City B. A traveler who needs only 3 days might book one ticket for the first part of the journey and another one for the return, bypassing the minimum stay restriction.
Some airlines do not allow this approach and can cancel such tickets if detected.
