About AltexSoft

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer to join an AI-native engineering team building a scalable B2B platform serving enterprise customers.

About Project

A market leader in company fitness and digital prevention solutions for workplace health promotion.

You Have

  • 5+ years of professional experience with Java
  • Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot
  • Solid understanding of backend architecture and clean code principles
  • Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Experience working with external integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, messaging systems, etc.)
  • Strong code review and refactoring skills
  • Openness to an AI-first development approach
  • Experience working in Agile teams

Would be a plus

  • Experience with event-driven systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)
  • Experience with enterprise/B2B platforms
  • Experience with automated testing (unit/integration)
  • DevOps knowledge
  • Understanding of AI-driven engineering workflows
  • Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar)
  • Ability to review, validate, and refine AI-generated code

You Are Going To

  • Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot
  • Work in an AI-assisted development workflow where a significant portion of code is AI-generated
  • Add business logic and domain-specific context on top of generated code
  • Review and refactor AI-generated components to ensure quality and architectural compliance
  • Implement and maintain integrations with external systems
  • Ensure production readiness, maintainability, and performance
  • Contribute to testing strategy and code quality standards
  • Collaborate with product owners and engineers in an Agile environment
