About AltexSoft
The Senior Engineer is primarily responsible for the Microsoft environment including Office 365, Azure AD, and the Azure environment. They will have knowledge and experience with AWS, VMware, and Cisco products. They will also provide escalated support to the Help Desk Technicians and employees who are using software, hardware, or other computer systems and need help completing tasks.
They must have sufficient technical knowledge of cloud solutions and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. They must also be customer-oriented and composed٫ to deal with demanding customers.
About Project
Client is a global court reporting company. They offer a comprehensive suite of services, including court reporting, legal videography, videoconferencing, interpretation, and trial support.
In this project, you will oversee the comprehensive infrastructure for the client, managing a diverse landscape of internal and external systems. You will collaborate with a 20+ member technical team and an internal Operations group, utilizing a sophisticated mix of tools within a dedicated DevOps environment.
You Have
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Information Technology field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing and maintaining a Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environment.
- Microsoft Azure Certifications.
- Advanced understanding of computer systems٫ mobile devices٫ and other tech products.
- Ability to diagnose and solve advanced technical issues.
- Must have great attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be motivated, organized, and work well under pressure.
- Must be able to work well without direct supervision.
- Must have a strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize.
You Are Going To
- Review all aspects of the Azure environment
- Manage Office 365 and Azure
- Implement and manage Microsoft Intune
- Provide overall monitoring of the standards, procedures, and integration of systems through Azure Cloud Architecture design
- Review all aspects of the AWS environment
- Performs day-to-day activities required to manage cloud services (AWS, Azure), utilizing a broad set of tools to manage and administrate cloud infrastructure including resolving Incidents and problem tickets.
- Document the Cloud infrastructure.
- Provide phone and helpdesk support for local and off-site employees if necessary.
- Diagnose system errors and other issues.
- Project manage larger implementations using a cloud Project management solution.
- Utilize the ticket tracking system to document all support incidents.
- Assist with maintaining inventory of hardware, software and support assets.
- Advise and mentor Help Desk Technicians.
- Support software applications, including troubleshooting programs, testing, and applying new software releases.
- Have an advanced understanding of Cybersecurity technologies (MFA, DUO, MDM, etc.)
- Meet SLA’s, KPI’s and Metrics as defined.
- Primary onsite work at the Rockville Md. Office to assist in supporting the company’s physical office (e.g., connections for employees’ workstations and phones, wireless access points, routers, computer server room, etc.).
- Possible additional travel may be required to satellite PD offices in the DMV area.
- Possible after-hours/weekend work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
