About AltexSoft
AltexSoft is looking for a Middle React Developer to join an established product team working on a sophisticated web platform in the financial domain. The role involves building and evolving a feature-rich frontend with a strong emphasis on data-intensive interfaces, real-time interactions, and scalable UI architecture. This position is a great fit for an engineer who feels confident with React and TypeScript, can operate with incomplete or high-level requirements, and is ready to actively contribute to technical and UI decisions rather than just follow predefined designs.
About Project
The project is centered on automating financial data processing, supporting regulatory compliance, and improving transparency through advanced analytics. The frontend work includes interfaces for asset management, transaction handling, reporting, advanced filtering, role-based access, and integrations with external systems. Development follows a structured quarterly release cycle, with close collaboration between engineering, analytics, and product stakeholders in an Agile environment.
You Have
• 3+ years of experience with React, including confident use of React Hooks
• Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript in production environments
• Practical knowledge of React Context and component-level state handling
• Understanding of global state management solutions (Redux or similar libraries)
• Experience working with large and existing codebases, including refactoring and incremental improvements
• Ability to independently deliver features based on high-level or evolving requirements
• Solid understanding of modern frontend architecture, reusable components, and UI best practices
• Experience working with data-heavy interfaces, tables, and complex UI logic
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and collaborative development practices
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams
• Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) in day-to-day development tasks
Would be a plus
• Hands-on experience with data visualization libraries (Recharts or similar)
• Basic understanding of containerization concepts (Docker)
• Experience migrating JavaScript codebases to TypeScript
• Practical exposure to real-time frontend features (WebSockets or similar technologies)
• Experience working in financial, accounting, or data-intensive domains
• Familiarity with Agile workflows and trunk-based development practices
•Experience building AI-powered solutions or integrating AI pipelines/APIs into software projects
You Are Going To
• Develop and maintain frontend functionality using React and TypeScript
• Build and enhance complex, data-driven UI components such as tables, grids, and dashboards
• Implement and support real-time UI features based on WebSocket communication
• Refactor and improve existing frontend code to enhance readability, performance, and scalability
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and analysts to shape UI and technical solutions
• Participate in technical discussions and decision-making, especially where detailed designs are unavailable
• Take ownership of frontend features throughout the full development lifecycle, from implementation to release
