About AltexSoft
We're looking for a confident Middle Data Engineer who will strengthen our Data Engineering team, where you will participate in building robust data pipelines, work with modern data technologies, mentor junior colleagues, communicate with distributed teams, and write good code.
In your free time or between projects, you'll have a possibility to participate in the creation of POCs or researches lead by our Competency Centers or Experts Community and aimed at experimenting with new technologies or business solutions.

You Have
- Experience working with Data Lakes and graph databases
- Strong knowledge of data pipeline development and ETL processes
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Solid understanding of data modeling principles
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Strong communication abilities and effective teamwork
- High level of adaptability in dynamic environments
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Professional spoken English level
Would be a plus
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for data engineering
- Optional knowledge of big data technologies (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with data streaming and real-time data processing
- Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks
- Knowledge of machine learning pipelines and MLOps practices
- Experience with Python or Java for data processing
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Understanding of data security and privacy compliance requirements
- Experience building AI-powered solutions or integrating AI pipelines/APIs into software projects
You Are Going To
- Design and build scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
- Work with Data Lakes to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
- Implement and maintain graph database solutions for complex data relationships
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements
- Optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle
- Participate in data architecture decisions and technical design discussions
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks
- Implement data governance policies and best practices
- Mentor junior team members and share data engineering knowledge
- Contribute to the development of reusable data engineering frameworks
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
