Wyndham Expands in Hawaii, Adds Hilo Hawaiian to Trademark Collection Portfolio

On June 17, 2025, Castle Resorts & Hotels’ Hilo Hawaiian Hotel on Banyan Drive became the first property in Hawaii to join Trademark Collection by Wyndham—upper-midscale and upscale hotels. This move marks Wyndham’s entry into Hawaii’s Trademark Collection portfolio.
The Hilo Hawaiian joins other upscale Banyan Drive properties like the Grand Naniloa (DoubleTree by Hilton).
Despite joining a global brand, the hotel vowed to preserve its authentic Hawaiian hospitality, which is key to local identity and guest loyalty. General Manager Matt Pickett emphasized that while the hotel now plays under a globally recognized nameplate, "it will remain the same kamaʻāina-friendly hotel guests know and love."
The hotel is now live on Wyndham’s booking platform, offering full Wyndham Rewards integration, including award nights and member-only rates. Current promotions include up to 25 percent off stays when booking by July 31, with travel valid through December 19, 2025.
