Wizz Class Gives Passengers More Space Without Business Cost

Wizz Air has officially launched a new optional service called Wizz Class, allowing travelers to reserve the middle seat next to them for added space and comfort. The service has been in trial since October 2025 and now turns into a fully bookable option.
Benefits and routes
Wizz Class blocks the middle seat in the first row (1B or 1E) and pairs the extra space with several perks. Passengers receive priority boarding, a 10kg carry-on allowance included in Wizz’s existing Smart and Plus bundles, and a complimentary non-alcoholic drink and snack.
The new service is initially available on select routes to and from Budapest, Bucharest, Warsaw, London Luton, London Gatwick, and Rome.
The airline plans to expand Wizz Class gradually depending on demand.
Not Business Class
Wizz Air emphasizes that this is not a traditional business class offering. Silvia Mosquera, Wizz Air’s CCO, said the service addresses travelers who want more space and faster boarding, but without paying legacy carrier business class prices.
The initiative aims to capture higher-yield passengers while maintaining Wizz’s low-cost model.
