UAE and Turkey Sign Memoranda of Understanding for Energy, Tourism, and Agriculture

On July 17, 2025, the UAE and Turkey signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in tourism, agriculture, and industrial cooperation.
Two countries will cooperate on ventures in renewable energy, technology, manufacturing, and the automotive industries. The combination of the UAE’s infrastructure and Turkey’s industrial base is expected to spur new investments, create jobs, and diversify both economies.
In April 2025, UAE and Turkish officials convened the Joint Economic and Trade Commission (JETCO) to enhance investment and infrastructure coordination.
In October 2024, during the Dubai International Chamber delegation to Istanbul, seven MoUs were signed with Turkish business bodies, including TOBB, TÜSİAD, and DEİK, to support trade missions and knowledge exchange.
In July 2023, the UAE and Turkey signed strategic agreements worth $50.7 billion, covering the energy, defence, infrastructure, finance, and space sectors. This correspondence has continued to expand into tourism and agriculture.
