Trip.com Q3 Soars: 16% Revenue Rise, Bookings Jump 60%

Trip.com Group has reported strong financial performance in the third quarter of 2025, supported by continued demand recovery.
Net revenue for the quarter reached US$2.58 billion, reflecting a 16 percent increase from the third quarter of 2024.
- Accommodation reservation revenue rose 18 percent year over year to $1.1 billion.
- Transportation ticketing revenue totaled $886 million, representing 12 percent growth compared with the previous year.
- Packaged-tour revenue increased 3 percent year over year to $226 million.
- Corporate travel revenue climbed 15 percent to $106 million, demonstrating resilience in business travel demand.
Trip.com posted net income of $2.8 billion for the quarter, much higher than the $960 million reported a year earlier.
Although net income typically cannot exceed revenue for operating performance alone, Trip.com recorded significant gains from asset disposals and other financial activities classified as non-operating income, elevating total profitability. The company did not disclose net income excluding these non-recurring items.
Diluted earnings per share were $4.02, down from $6.97 in the same quarter of 2024.
Operational metrics remained strong:
- bookings across the company’s OTA platform grew roughly 60 percent year over year,
- inbound travel bookings increased by more than 100 percent, and
- outbound flight and hotel bookings reached about 140 percent of 2019 volumes.
In September 2025, Trip.com Group acquired Key Travel, a UK-based TMC serving the nonprofit sector, including humanitarian, religious, academic, and aid organizations. The acquisition strengthens Trip.Biz’s presence in mission-driven travel and expands the company's travel management portfolio.
