One Planet Bets $50 Million on AI Luxury Travel for Fall 2026

One Planet Group announced that it will invest an initial $50 million to launch Quite Remarkable, a new luxury travel and lifestyle platform.
The company said the rollout will begin in fall 2026. It describes the business as “AI-native,” meaning AI is being built into the platform from the start rather than added later as an extra feature.
Quite Remarkable is expected to combine luxury stays, travel experiences, and wellness offerings in one platform. The idea is to create a more personalized service for high-end travelers while using AI to support planning, recommendations, and operations behind the scenes.
One Planet Group is entering travel from a technology background
One Planet Group is not a traditional travel company. It is known as an investment group with businesses in technology, media, and digital services.
The project also follows founder Payam Zamani’s recent involvement with Inspirato, a luxury travel subscription company.
Inspirato was acquired in December 2025, and the deal was completed in February 2026. That gives Zamani recent experience in the premium travel segment before moving on to this new venture.
The company is aiming beyond the usual luxury membership model
One Planet Group says Quite Remarkable will go beyond “traditional luxury membership only models.” That suggests it wants to build something broader than a typical private travel club. Instead of focusing only on access or exclusivity, the platform is being positioned around curated travel, lifestyle, and wellness experiences.
The concept is clear, but the commercial model is still taking shape
For now, the industry impact is still limited because the platform has not launched yet and many commercial details are still unknown. The company has not explained how bookings will work, how suppliers will join, or whether the business will use a membership model, a booking model, or both.
Travel brands push AI closer to the booking journey
A similar shift is showing up elsewhere in travel, as companies try to use AI not just as a back-end tool, but as part of the customer-facing planning experience. That was clear recently when Hilton launched its AI Planner in beta, showing how travel brands are starting to use conversational tools to stay visible earlier in the trip search process and guide travelers more directly from inspiration to booking.
