KKR Acquires Minority Stake in Etraveli Group

On July 21, 2025, global investment firm KKR announced the acquisition of a minority stake in Etraveli Group, the Swedish travel-tech firm backed by CVC Capital Partners.
Closing conditions and the exact investment amount have not been disclosed.
KKR is making the investment through its Strategic Investments Group, stepping in after Booking Holdings’ failed acquisition (blocked by the EU in September 2023).
Etraveli is a flight technology provider that operates consumer-facing brands, such as GoToGate, Mytrip, and FlightNetwork, as well as B2B solutions, powering platforms like Booking.com, TUI, and Radisson.
In 2017, CVC bought Etraveli from ProSiebenSat.1 and has since led its growth.
“Together with CVC and KKR, we look forward to accelerating the expansion of our global B2B Flight Tech Platform,” said Mathias Hedlund, Etraveli Group’s CEO.
