Hyatt Opens Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Dominican Republic

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa, a luxury adults-only, all-inclusive resort located in Miches, Dominican Republic. The resort expands Hyatt's Inclusive Collection footprint in the Caribbean.

Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa features 500 luxury suites, each with private balconies or terraces offering stunning garden or ocean views. Guests can enjoy the resort's Unlimited-Luxury® experience, which includes gourmet dining at seven à la carte restaurants, premium beverages, 24-hour room service, and a variety of recreational activities. The resort also boasts three swimming pools, a full-service spa, a fitness center, and daily activities such as dance lessons and water sports.

Located just 62 miles from Punta Cana International Airport, the resort offers a secluded and romantic beachfront atmosphere, perfect for couples looking for relaxation and luxury.

In addition to the Secrets Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa, Hyatt will soon open Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort & Spa, a family-friendly resort, on September 1, 2025.
