Bonafide and Visiting Media Team Up as Hotels Chase AI Visibility

Bonafide and Visiting Media announced a partnership to help hotels appear more accurately in AI-powered travel search.

The companies will connect Visiting Media’s hotel content platform with Bonafide’s technology, which prepares verified travel information for large language models such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.

The deal comes as more travelers use AI tools to plan trips. Instead of searching with short keywords, they now ask detailed questions about hotels, rooms, amenities, location, accessibility, and guest experience. If an AI system cannot understand a hotel’s content, it may describe the property incorrectly or leave it out of the answer.

Hotels already create a lot of useful content, including photos, videos, virtual tours, room descriptions, event space details, and amenity lists. The problem is that this information is often spread across websites, sales platforms, booking channels, and internal systems.

That makes it harder for AI tools to find and use the right details. For example, a hotel may have strong meeting facilities or accessible rooms, but those details may not be clearly structured online. In AI search, unclear content can quickly become a visibility problem.

How the partnership works

Visiting Media brings the hotel content side of the partnership. The company helps hospitality teams use immersive sales materials, including virtual tours and visual assets, to present properties to guests, groups, and event planners.

Bonafide adds the AI-readiness layer. Its platform helps organize verified hotel information so large language models can understand it more easily.

Bonafide and Visiting Media’s deal also fits a shift already visible in hotel technology. For example, ChatGPT hotel searches show that many independent hotels are still missing from AI travel recommendations, even when they operate in major destinations. That makes structured and verified hotel content more important.
