flydubai, the Dubai-based airline, announced a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to integrate cloud computing and artificial intelligence technologies across its operations, aiming to enhance customer experience and improve operational efficiency.

Under the collaboration, flydubai will use AWS’s cloud infrastructure, data analytics, machine learning, and generative AI capabilities to modernize key parts of its technology stack. The airline plans to develop scalable digital solutions that support more personalized customer interactions, faster decision-making, and more agile operational processes across its network.

The partnership is positioned as a core element of flydubai’s broader digital transformation strategy. By leveraging AWS’s global cloud platform, the airline aims to optimize key areas, including customer service, demand forecasting, operational planning, and internal workflows, while also enabling faster experimentation and deployment of new digital services.

From a customer perspective, the integration is expected to support smoother and more personalized travel journeys, including smarter self-service tools and more responsive interactions across digital touchpoints. On the operational side, AI-driven analytics and cloud-based systems are intended to improve efficiency, scalability, and resilience as the airline continues to grow.

As of mid-December 2025, the partnership has been formally announced, and initial implementation efforts are underway.

This autumn, airline software provider Accelya signed a five-year strategic collaboration agreement with AWS to enhance Accelya’s FLX ONE platform, which powers over 200 airlines globally.
