Etihad and Vietnam Airlines Partner on Loyalty Miles

On July 1, 2025, Etihad Airways and Vietnam Airlines launched a frequent flyer partnership allowing Etihad Guest and Lotusmiles members to earn and redeem miles across both airlines’ networks.
Etihad Guest members can now use miles for Vietnam Airlines flights and earn up to 150 percent miles flying Vietnam Airlines in business class and up to 90 percent in premium economy, with smaller accruals in economy.
Elite tier benefits, such as lounge access, priority boarding, and extra baggage, are not part of the deal. Only mileage accrual and redemption across networks are covered.
Lotusmiles gains access to Etihad’s long-haul network, particularly North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC, while Etihad Guest now spans Vietnam Airlines' domestic and regional routes.
Etihad plans to launch flights to Hanoi from November 2, 2025, as one of 16 new global destinations.
