CLIA, FCCA, and Seatrade Extend Partnership Through 2035

On July 21, 2025, Seatrade Cruise, Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), and the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) announced the renewal of their partnership for another 10 years, continuing joint support for the global cruise industry.
This ensures collaboration on conferences, exhibitions, and flagship events like annual Seatrade Cruise Global, where industry peers network and discuss the future of cruise.
Bud Darr, President and CEO of CLIA, called the next decade “one of transformation,” stressing commitment to the cruise industry innovation.
Michele Paige, CEO of FCCA, emphasized the deal’s importance for expanding opportunities in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Latin America, supporting economic and tourism development.
FCCA is a non‑profit that also focuses on cruise operations and tourism development, but within the Florida‑Caribbean region.
CLIA is a global trade association and the leading cruise industry authority. It advocates for industry interests, establishes safety standards, and develops educational programs. To learn more details, read our article about CLIA membership and certification.
