Bulgaria Air Expands Partnership with Amadeus, Adds New Tools

Bulgaria Air has expanded its partnership with Amadeus by signing a full content distribution agreement and upgrading its systems to improve digital and passenger services.
The airline will migrate to the Amadeus Reference Experience platform, a configurable interface that accommodates airline-specific needs.
Bulgaria Air also gains new tools like Enhanced Re-accommodation and Disruption Transfer, which optimize flight disruption management by proactively offering travelers alternative routes and rebooking options on Bulgaria Air or partner carriers.
Additionally, Bulgaria Air will adopt Amadeus Travel Intelligence modules like Traffic Analytics and Schedule Analytics. These tools provide real-time data on market trends and passenger flows for optimized route planning, capacity allocation, and better travel offers.
This deal is among several agreements Amadeus has established with airlines this year.
- Saudi Arabia’s national carrier Saudia rolled out the Amadeus Nevio, an offer and order-based system.
- Riyadh Air signed a global distribution agreement with Amadeus.
- Malaysia Airlines partnered with Amadeus to deploy Amadeus Travel Ready, a solution for verifying travel documents.
Additionally, Amadeus collaborated with Google to adopt Google Cloud technologies to improve flight search accuracy and airline offer management.
